"Our coaching process was one of the best business investments I've made. I started working with Kathy because I was unhappy at work and felt that I was on the wrong path. Kathy's coaching process showed me I was better suited for something else. Plus, her process gave me the support I needed to move towards my goals. I now own and operate a creative services firm. I continue to work with Kathy for business coaching. The result is worth it-I became profitable in my first year of business. Plus I can't remember the last time I had so much fun at work."

"Kathy's method and style of coaching was a perfect match for me. She is direct, unafraid to tell you what you need to hear, and compassionate at the same time. She worked with me on both professional and personal issues that were holding me back from being my best. It's been nearly two years since we worked together and I still use the skills she taught me to work through obstacles that I encounter."

"Kathy Clayton is a professional driven by her strong commitment to ethics. In our year together, she worked with me to strengthen my own core of values. Additionally, she really followed through on her promise to be available for support through phone calls and emails. I found this helpful in overcoming fear (False Evidence Appearing Real) and getting unstuck. Since working with Kathy, I have made better choices in my relationships.  Professionally, I am more confident: I have increased my business (commercial and fine art) by 500%."

"Deciding to use a coach was big step for me. Once I learned about the Personal Potential Appraisal, I realized this was an investment not only in my business but in myself. Kathy helps you to recognize your strengths and weaknesses and how to use those in your personal life and in your business. I learned so much about myself, gained a tremendous amount of confidence, and most importantly I learned how I wanted to run my business, treat my clients, and grow my business, all while keeping balance with my family and private life. I made some big changes under Kathy's watch, and these changes have equated to more success, money and happiness."

"Through Kathy's process I was able to rebuild my foundation based on MY values and priorities. I learned that this is a process and it can take as long as I need it to.  I am now able to make decisions based on my values and not on what I think I 'should do'. I have peace and purpose in my business and have been able to teach my consultants to have this as well. I feel grounded, knowing I can offer them hope for a balanced life and a peaceful, thriving business because I have done the work."

"My life is dramatically different today because I spent a year of my life with you as my coach. I never thought that it could make such a difference. I was tired of being stuck in the same revolving door. Year after year being frustrated in areas of my career but not knowing what else I wanted to do. I had the motivation and tenacity to move forward, I just needed someone to help me with the direction. The Appraisal was incredibly helpful.  It was a revelation when I finally really understood that I could be ok with who I am and I didn't have to continue resisting.  I've learned to identify some of the cycles and patterns in my life and I'm getting better at managing them more effectively.

"Kathy, the work we've done together has had a dramatic effect on my life. Having unlimited phone and email support helped significantly. I feel I accomplished more during the coaching sessions because so much was processed throughout the month by email and by telephone. Thank you for all your help. It's been a great year."

"I have found the coaching process with Kathy to be infinitely valuable and transformational. Taking the time to slow down and follow 9 months of process has helped me pay attention to the cycles that affect my work and personal life. Because of this, I have been able to integrate the many learnings I had over the course of working with Kathy and deepen the growth I have experienced. I am more aware and confident in my work, thanks in part to the in-depth work with Kathy. She was there every step of the way, as a coach, cheerleader, and mirror to help me see what I can do and achieve. My work with Kathy continues to transform how I show up in my work and personal life."

"When I started the coaching process with Kathy, I looked at my life in three parts - career, home and relationships. At that time, none of these three basic building blocks of life were able to support me. Like a three-legged stool, with no legs, I had no support other than holding myself up with my own will power.

I worked with Kathy because I wanted help running not one, but two companies. Shortly after working with Kathy, it became clear to us both that owning a company was not for me. She helped me realize what my natural strengths were and to focus on them rather than dwelling on what I didn't like to do.

By the time I finished my coaching session, I had a solid three-legged stool under me. I negotiated working as an associate with a successful organizing company and I am able to focus on doing what I do best. I ditched the loser guys and am in a loving relationship with a wonderful man (whom I quite literally conjured as a result of a "write it down" exercise Kathy had me do), and I have not one, but two beautiful homes. What a difference nine months makes! Thank you Kathy!"

"I found working with you to be an eye opening and gratifying experience as well as a discovery process of how I think of myself and how others may see me.  When I took the Appraisal I must admit, I was pretty skeptical. I did not have a lot of faith in answering questions and getting good feedback on my own personality.  I was delighted and surprised at the depth of understanding of me and my styles that the evaluation uncovered."

"Probably the most important thing you have brought to my attention is that I am at 100% choice at all times. When I am struggling, I try to jump back and question choices I made to get in the situation.  Rather than have a pity party, I think about what I've learned from the situation I have put upon myself. You have also brought to my attention that I need to be as tolerant with myself as in the way I tolerate others. Since I am pretty much a "party of one" for my work, you made me aware of the fact that I need to "blow my own horn" about my business. I have to be my own cheerleader."

"Kathy Clayton is a remarkable and clever woman with great insights and observations and a terrific knack for getting right to the bottom of an issue. Throughout my coaching sessions, Kathy provided warm support and was always willing to review an issue until I felt she had the full picture. She demonstrated an in-depth understanding of me and the challenges I faced and maintained a balanced view while still being sensitive to my emotions, my frustrations and my needs. Kathy freely shares personal stories in the coaching process to help illustrate points she is making.  This helps me since it's great to know that she can really relate to what I'm going through. With great tools, great empathy and great talent for helping people, Kathy is a fantastic coach and I truly appreciate the help she gave me in improving my marriage, my self-confidence and my personal happiness.

"Your support of me as my advocate let me know there was someone in the world who understood my struggles in my marriage and was "on my side" while not negating my husband.  You took on the challenge of helping me find more satisfaction in my marriage, in my role as a mother, and in my life as a whole. Overall, it's been great working with you and the success I've had as a result of our work feels permanent. I feel changed in my approach to life and have renewed optimism that was minimal or non-existent before."

"Upon meeting Kathy, I was instantly impressed with her professional, yet warm approach to our conversation regarding my challenges at the time.  Kathy's coaching process is incredibly well structured and outlined but I also feel that she is very good at adjusting the process for the needs of the client.  One thing we did that really made a difference in my perception of myself was to take the Personal Potential Appraisal test.  That opened my eyes and helped me to be a lot more forgiving of myself for not knowing how to do "everything" (something I imagine a lot of people who are responsible for almost every aspect of their business struggle with) regarding building my business.

"I have been working with Kathy for about six months and the results have been worth every dime. I am feeling the fears and the lack of confidence abating and the momentum and the commitment to my business building every day.  I have a stronger commitment to the goal and I am more confident about my ability to reach the goal.  I am learning to understand how my beliefs and values have held me back in the past and what I have to do to change them.  I am learning and practicing a lot of skills, which help me stay on track even when the days sometimes get long and hard. Having someone to not only give you information but also support is critical for me because I can keep the "negative" messages at bay a lot better and just keep moving forward.  I hired Kathy because I need help moving through these fears.  Having someone to pick you up and help you see yourself as someone who deserves success, both personal and financial, is a great gift and I am learning that I am worth it."

"I feel that by meeting with you I, for the first time in my life, have direction and clarity.  This brings me to the appraisal, which I feel is a great asset in tandem with your coaching!  It showed me that first, I am who I am.  I now know that I kept trying to fit into something that was not appropriate for my personality type.  One of the problems I had was that I perceived many of those traits in my profile as negative beforehand, and as a result, I really just had a low opinion of myself and tried to do these other occupations to improve my self-image in a way. I feel that your process taught me that, in short, 'hey, it's not good or bad, but this is who you are. How can we use this to our advantage, and how can we improve the weaknesses?' In turn, I've become much more accepting of who I am, my way of being, and my relationships with people.

What has worked well with this experience is that it has really enabled me to try different things and to trust myself more and follow my instincts, to do things that I had always had interest in, but never acted on because of what I thought of myself and who I wanted to be instead.  I've been more proactive and open than before, not only in learning and relationships, but everything else also."

"The coaching process has been worthwhile in discovering who I am and understanding all the roles that I play. In business, I was a powerful communicator at gathering the troops to complete projects or to make events happen. In my personal life, the same could not be said. Now, with the skills and life lessons I have learned from Kathy, combined with the Appraisal, I am set for anything that happens and can better understand the situations in my life.  The discussions and tools (she shared) with me are guiding me through the fog and into the sunshine."

"It has been several months since I completed my year of growth and exploration with you.  Rarely a day goes by that I don't recall some simple or exquisite piece of advice you gave during that year, advice that continues to serve my business as well as my personal life and prosperity.

"When I first met you, I was often reserved about what I thought and often kept it to myself, or worse yet, ignored it. I could sense that this quality was not going to serve personally, much less in my business life.  From the moment I stated my goal of "finding my voice," you gracefully, tactfully and skillfully helped me see where that quality showed up in my life and how to address it. Kathy, what you helped m learn and see about myself will serve for the rest of my life.  I can't say thank you enough!"

"I cannot say enough about your gift as a coach, let alone your skills, compassion, and strengths to see what someone needs and how to direct them. I would send the "weakest of heart" to you and know they would come out stronger, more trustworthy of the process, and feel very supported and cared for. You're amazing Kathy. Thank you."

"I have become so much more effective professionally and personally as a result of your coaching. I am deeply grateful. Life makes so much more sense now that I better understand my personal needs. The life skills and tools you provided me with were very helpful in creating a much more balanced, efficient existence."

"Working with Kathy really helped me know what my strengths and weaknesses were, focus on my strengths, and to bring to my business those individual, personal qualities that make me who I am. She is a great coach, especially for anyone who is feeling that their real self is being lost in trying to be successful."

"Down to earth yet very professional describes Kathy. She's been wonderful at keeping me focused on my heartfelt direction and values, by recalling points I'd made a year ago, but I'd lost focus on amongst the minutia. While I ultimately didn't choose to pursue the career direction that the assessment exam pointed towards, Kathy was able to help me visualize how those same skills supported me on the path I did choose. She gracefully and encouragingly weaved my philosophical beliefs in with practical advice that will serve me throughout my lifetime."

"Kathy Clayton's personable personality, insightful insight and joie de vivre secretly disguise stern lectures into something that seems like the listener's idea. She alternates between proffering new thoughts and bringing forth the "D'oh!" factor. I learned so much, saw things I already knew in a different way, found relief, comfort and hope under her nurturing and very direct gaze. (Yes, she even has the knack of keeping me on subject!). Thank goodness I'm so normal! She pokes and prods, yet be not afraid, for out of painful births come delight and renewal."
